    To begin preparation for the UPSC exam from Class 11, create a strong basic understanding of History, Geography, Politics, and Economics. This should ideally be done in the mornings and read the newspapers which include The Hindu or the Indian Express. Spend 1-2 hours each day in studying for UPSC. First, are the NCERT textbooks in which approximately 30 to 40% of the UPSC syllabus is covered. Familiarize yourself with the UPSC exam pattern, which consists of 3 stages: Prelims – 400 marks, Mains – 1750 marks and Interview – 275 marks.
