how can i start the preparation for CAT? I want to do MBA in marketing sector.from where i'll have to start the preparation?

i m perusing my B.Sc final year through environment and water management.which is a vocational course.I want to do preparation for CAT.I want to know that which subject should be strong for this sector?from which subject i will have to start the preparation?

    As for preparation part, I would suggest you to follow RS Agarwal for Quantitative Ability, Nishit K Sinha for LRDI and Arun Sharma for Verbal reasoning. For Vocab, you must do "Word Power made easy" by norman lewis. A ready made solution could be to take up correspondance material from TIME and work it out at home. Just make sure, you work more on concepts because now-a-days CAT papers tests concepts.

    Hi Niti,
    There is no concrete plan which I can suggest you for preparation the only advice I would give is the key to success in such Entrance Examinations is Time Management and remember “there is no short cut to hard work”
    I would say for preparation there is no one set of books which you can consult. You can prepare through various tests prep books available in the market such as R.S. Aggarwal, Galgotias, and Meenakshi & Arun Sharma. For quantitative ability & logical reasoning section you should start going through the NCERT Books of class 9-12. For Verbal ability I would say, you can purchase Wren and Marten & a good dictionary

    CAT Entrance Includes , Quantitative Aptitude . Reasoning , Critical Reasoning , English , English Comprehensive . So Just Take RS Aggarwal for Aptitude and Reasoning And Start Preparation. for English you can also take any grammar Book or Study materials of TIME or Career Launcher E.T.C
