How can I study MBBS from Switzerland? Is it true that they do not admit international students for MBBS?

Dear Astha it is true that Switzerland Institutes do not prefer foreign applicants in programs related to medicine, dentistry, veterinary and chiropractic with the following exceptions: If the applicant is: 1. Recognized refugee by Switzerland 2. Citizen of Liechtenstein 3. Foreign citizens who have been residing in Switzerland for 5 or more years. If you are looking to study medicine in European continent, you can consider Poland, Czech Republic, and Romania. You can choose Poland as the quality of education is good, cost is less as compared to Switzerland and is a more preferred destination for foreign students to study medicine and allied programs and also technical programs. Some of the Institutes such as Warsaw University take an entrance test before accepting a candidate if your grades are below the required criteria. A lot students also go to countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Philippines etc. to study medicine. Besides the country, it is also important to decide on a good institute as the quality of education varies at different institutes within the same country. Hope this information is sufficient.
