Dear Sonia,
The duration of the general medical degree program in French universities is about 9 years.
The medical studies are divided into 3 stages known as cycles.
1st cycle - 2 years, 2nd cycle - 4 years, 3rd cycle - 3 years.
Specialization is after this.

Dear Shahul,
For Admission to a medical program in France, you will have to clear an entrance or skype interview.
Medical program is available in French only.
Cost of living is high. Cost of course is approximately 10 lacs per year.
