For BTech admission at Guru Nanak Dev University, it is mandatory to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam. In addition to this, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate. The total course fee for the BTech course at GNDU ranges between INR 4.7 lakh and INR 10.3 lakh. However, for some of the other undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Guru Nanak Dev University admits students on the basis of merit.

No, you can't take admission in B.Tech without entrance exam. But for other courses, you can take admission on the basis of 12 Merit.
