After inquiring from the admission counsellors, I came to know that the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a major branch of engineering at LPU which has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. *LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.
The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices.
Students are exposed too the fields like
a. Cloud computing
b. IoT
c. Data Science
e. Machine Learning
f. Big Data and many more
LPU promotes following scholarship:
1.On the basis of marks in previous class
2.LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship
3.Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
4.Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5.Board Toppers
6.For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7.Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents
8.LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well.
# From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one.
I will advice you not to miss the opportunity to choose the right institution so plan you admission at the earliest or maximum by 30-6-2020.

You can take admission in LPU as per your course choice. LPU offers 200+ programmes and 45+ disciplines departments for career path. Now the choice to choose one among all is totally dependent on you.
Looking towards the present condition of Nation, LPU is providing support to students through online admission mode for up coming academic session. One just need to visit www.lpu.in and get his/her course details. To get yourself admitted in any programme that LPU offers you need to meet eligibility and admission criteria for the same.

Yes, LPU considers minimum 70 percentile in JEE Mains for direct admission. Rest you need to have minimum 60% aggregate in 12th class.
Although you do not need to qualify LPUNEST second schedule if you are taking admission though special counselling schedule but you can take LPUNEST just to increase your scholarship. LPU has organised special counselling schedule for those who have appeared in JEE mains Jan 2020 or LPUNEST Jan 2020.

Last date to apply 20th April.
Result/Rank declaration 22nd April.
Choice of branch filling: 22nd to 24th April.

You can take admission based on +2 marks or JEE Mains or LPUNEST examination. If you have reached any of the required criteria in JEE mains or +2, then there is no need to attempt LPUNEST.

JEE Main is not necessary for lpu admission. They allow admissions through lpu nest exam too.

Lovely Professional University is the largest private and prestigious university in India offering 200+ programs in various disciplines.
