How can I take admission in LPU? Is admission based on JEE exam?

HI, Dear Candidate, In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. To my knowledge, LPU conducts LPU NEST exam for B tech admissions or it also takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains. Moreover, For the B.Tech programme, if you have a minimum of 85 percentile score then you can get admission directly else you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam. You will also get a scholarship based on JEE Mains and LPU NEST exam whichever is higher. As my cousin has taken admission recently in B.Tech CSE so we were told that if you are having above 90 percentile in JEE then you can take direct admission without appearing for LPU NEST. Looking into the present situation LPU admissions for the 2020 session are still going online and will end soon y 30th November as per the latest updates. To know more call on LPU toll-free number given on <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.lpu.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.lpu.in</a> Now coming on 2nd concern, At LPU you can get admission on JEE exam paper also in subject to eligibility condition. As per my knowledge in 2020 admission session B.Tech programme eligibility says: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 12th (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 12th, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains then LPU NEST is exempted. In case you have scored in JEE exam 80 or above then it can help you to give benefits of scholarship also. At this point of time if you are planning to take admission then let me tell you at LPU after every passing phase scholarship reduces and according to me its last phase for this admission session is ongoing so scholarship confirmation you need to confirm too. Yes, The 2020 intake is based on both JEE-Mains or LPU NEST if you have appeared in any of these, you can participate in the special schedule of counselling, provided the eligibility criteria of 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English as mandatory subjects. If you are looking for B.Tech programme the eligibility norm for this programme at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Therefore JEE Main is not mandatory you can proceed with LPU NEST exam. Hi Nomanjee, As per the current scenario of covid 19, you can take admission through the online mode. Go to LPU website and choose your desired course and click on the apply now. Fill and upload the required information, pay the fee and then you can take admission. As per my knowledge the Eligibility of B.Tech CSE in LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST and LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. My lot of friends who have done B.Tech in CSE, ECE, biotech etc. The best thing is I never ever heard any negative from them as I am also alumni of LPU y review is also same. I believe this is the one of the best place for B.Tech in india. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foriegn universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum.
