The prerequisites for studying medicine and health sciences colleges differ amongst institutions. The following are often approved for admission to colleges of medicine and health sciences:
• For UG: Candidates must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream with PCB, or medicine9 Chemistry, and medicine9 For PG: Candidates must hold a degree in the medical or health sciences to qualify for admission to a master's program.Some colleges do admit applicants based on merit or on the results of their entrance exams.
