How can I take admission in NIT, Rourkela?

Hi, Well, for getting admission into the college NIT Rourkela, you need to qualify class 12 board exam and the JEE Mains exam. Based on your score and rank you can apply for any branch of your interest in NIT Rourkela. The criteria For candidates to qualify for admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th exam conducted by the respective boards,for General students. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th.The rank in JEE Mains should be Home State: Rank - 25570 and Other State: Rank - 16412 . NIT Rourkela is ranked 15th by NIRF in 2018. The placement is also good over here. Many companies visit here like ABB , Amazon ,amdocs, Aricent, CapGemini, Cummins, Del,l Ericsson India, Essar Cellular, Future Group, Futures, First Goldman Sachs, Hindustan Unilever, HP ,IBM, Infosys, L T Lafarge, Microsoft, Musigma Patni, Pepsi, Reliance, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, Wipro etc visit the campus and recruits many students. For taking admission in NIT you must qualify with high rank in your category the JEE Main exam. Every NIT or IIIT has their own cutoff for taking admission into the various branches . You check the previous cutoff from the net of Jee main exam. Similarly NIT Rourkela has opening and closing ranks for all branches . therefore in getting a seat in particular branch you need to be in between the range of opening and closing rank of that particular branch.
