    Candidates aspiring for admission to BTech course at IIIT Allahabad must qualify for JEE Main entrance exam with a valid score. There is no other way to get admission to this course. Based on a valid JEE Main rank, candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling process, Admissions at IIIT Allahabad are entrance-based. The institute selects students based on scores in national-level examinations such as JEE Main, CAT, MAT, GATE, XAT, CMAT, etc. The flagship course at IIIT Allahabad is BTech. To get into BTech courses, candidates need to qualify JEE Main exam.

    In order to get admission to BTech at IIT Ahmedabad you should have passed the 10+2 exam (from a recognised board) with a minimum of aggregate at least 60% (it might slightly vary depending on your category). Alongwith, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry are mandatory subjects in the 10+2 qualifying exam.

    Admission Process:

    1. JEE Mains: You need to register and appear for your JEE Mains exam.
    2. Qualify JEE Mains: You have to qualify JEE Main in order to be eligible for admission.
    3. JoSAA Counselling: After the declaration of JEE Main results, you have participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process.

    To get admission to BTech course at IIIT Allahabad, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The application process for admissions commences with the online registrations for JEE Main and ends with the exam results announced along with the merit list. The selected candidates are eligible for the process of document verification and seat allotment conducted by JoSAA or CSAB. Further, candidates selected during counselling process are allotted seats and branches as per their ranks.
