    The following are the criteria taken into consideration to get admission to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - PIT Batala for the course of B.Tech:

    Successful completion of 10+2 from any recognized board with at least 45% of aggregate marks in the case of general categories or at least 40% of aggregate marks in the case of reserved categories.
    It also demands a good score in the JEE examination.
    Cut off for admission to top courses in B.Tech differs from 1500-1700 in JEE. The eligibility criteria will lay down a basis for achieving an excellent rank in JEE, so the chances of admission are enhanced.

    For taking admission into I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - PIT BATALA campus for B.Tech, the student must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate (for general category) and 40% aggregate (for reserved categories) from a recognised board. Along with this, the students must have a decent score in JEE examination. B.Tech being one of the most popular course among the students in this University, the students requires a cutoff ranging from 1500-1700 to secure admission in top B.Tech courses here.
