How can I take admission with CUET exam?

Candidates should apply to three Participating Universities with three options of the programmes selected under CUET. Applicants can apply for CUET while attempting the qualifying examination of the university. However, they would have to produce the passing Certificate at the time of counselling.

Students can get admission to reputed colleges and universities like Delhi University, Visva-Bharati, Jawaharlal Nehru University, etc., by clearing the Common University Entrance Test. In 2022 more than 45 central universities and colleges will be participating in the CUET entrance exam that the National Testing Agency the application process for the computer-based entrance exam began The Ministry of Education has issued guidelines stating that the candidates must qualify for the CUET entrance exam to get admission to well-recognized colleges like JNU, Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, and the University of Allahabad. Until 2021 many central universities provided admission to the students based on their class 12 board examination marks, resulting in high cut-offs. The National Testing Agency has been allotted the responsibility to conduct the CUET entrance exam and prepare the merit list based on it to combat this problem. As a result of the CUET entrance exam, the weightage of class 12 marks will be reduced, and a fair and common evaluation process will be followed to offer admission to the students.
