The eligibility criteria to become a primary teacher in a government school is as follows:
(a) Degree with 02 years Diploma in Education (DEd)
OR
(b) Degree with 02 years B.T.C., CT (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training course
OR
(c) 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
