How can ICWAI & ACCA from UK can improve the prospects of getting good job at a time when I am already 40yrs old ?

I am aged 40 and a post graduate (M.COM) in 2000. I am appearing in ICWAI-Final (3rd Stage) in Dec 2011 and I have to pass only nine papers (out of 14) to complete my ACCA-UK. Please guide me as to which option is better for me as I've been working as Admn Officer in pvt engg college.
