  • NUS is very selective and highly competitive for any course so candidates need to score very high in academics and must have extra curriculars to show as part of their profile. A SAT and TOEFL would be required depending on the course you are applying to. International students need to submit their educational qualification details along with thier personal details and pay the NUS application fees before selecting the course.

    The minimum program-wise eligibility criteria that international applicants need to meet before applying to the National University of Singapore are given below:

    Undergraduate Level Eligibility Requirements

    Basic Education:

    • Class 12 Central Board or other State Board with impressive grades in all five major subjects (including English)

    Exam Name 

    Score

    GRE:

    • Minimum overall 6.5 bands with 6.5 in Reading and Writing components

    TOEFL

    • Minimum score of 92-93 for internet-based or 580 for paper-based

    GRE:

      62 with 62 in Reading and Writing components

    MUET

    • Minimum 200

    SAT

    • A minimum score of 600 for evidence-based Reading and Writing section and 650 for the mathematics section

    ACT

    • A minimum composite score of 29 with a minimum of 8 in the Writing component

    Note: Students may also support their English proficiency with an SAT score alone.

    Graduate Level Eligibility Requirements

    Basic Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with honors 

    English Proficiency :
