Dear Preetham, If your son is weak in Physics I will advice you to find out his areas of interest and not to impose anything. He may have other study plans. See it is very necessary to improve the practice secession because in physics and maths practice plays a important part. Jee in 2017 will be more difficult to score because the criteria and role of board marks is now removed so the jee result will be the total marks and on the basis of this rank

As a student I am suggesting you if he is not interested in physics then he must have some other qualifications or merits. Ask him about what he want to do. Don't pressure him as jee is not everything. Let him to his the work he is interested as you too support him. This is the best choice.

Ask him to work more on Physics and check in which concept he is lagging and ask any of the lecturer to guide him on that concept.
