How can one become an auto designer?

Sonam, an auto designer needs to be good with maths and could be a BTech (Mech) background. Rest all is same. Design is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in Product Design (Auto), UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). Of course at the top of the pile lies Concept Designing - these people are required by Event Companies, Animation Studios, VFX Studios, and of course Game Studios. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Design is a very good field and has plethora of opportunities. As you are interested in Auto Design you can pursue B.Des and then go for post graduate course M.Des in Transporation Design. Few colleges that offers B. Des and M.Des courses are UPES, National Institute of Design, M.s Ramaiyah, AD-The design school.
