Two ways to go about it. Long scenic route. Short to the point route.
The long scenic Route is pursuing MBA which is a time sink but provides you knowledge over many different things.
Short route is focusing on exactly those trends/ subjects pertaining to investment banking by pursuing a short term course that targets everything you want to know about the subject matter .
Even after that what should be taken into consideration is the guidance/ assistance to push you into the banking field. It's a very competitive field.
