Dear vivek, preparation of complete syllabus in a systematic manner is the sure shot way to crack CDS or any exam.

To crack the entrance exam you should be able to answer the multiple question very quickly there will be very shortage of the time so for the quick reply improve your GK,current affair and English and a good kowledge of general knowlege,
for history read the ncert 10th and 12th cla
