How can one get admission in 3rd semester of B.Tech in mechatronics? I have finished Diploma in mechanical engineering.

One can get admission into B.Tech colleges after completing his Diploma through lateral entry. A person who had completed his three years of Diploma can directly enter into 3rd semester B.Tech by writing different entrance exams for different states. NIT's do not have a provision for lateral entry admission in B.Tech 2nd year. You can not get admission in NIT Suratakal for B.Tech Mechatronics 2nd year.
