NRI applicants should keep the following points in mind before applying for the CLAT exam:
1. The sponsor has to be a first-degree relative of the applicants.
2: The sponsor has to reside abroad as a non-resident Indian.
3. If the student has no parents or near relatives, he or she needs to be a legal ward of the sponsor.
4: The sponsor needs to submit an affidavit stating his or her interest in the educational affairs of the student and a willingness to sponsor their education for the next 5 years. -
