Admission to the BTech course for most of the NITs are done through JEE Main and no other entrance examination scores are accepted by the authorities. For outside India candidates, (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) DASA UG is accepted by the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela for admission. There are limited seats available for the students so apply early. Those students who are applying for admission through JEE Main must keep an eye on JEE Main exam dates and JEE Main admit card release dates.

B.Tech admissions into NITs are done only through JEE Main and no other mode is accepted by the authorities. JEE Main is a National level Engineering entrance examination and is considered one of the toughest exams in the country.
