How can the course of librarianship be done from a social science subject?

<p>If you wish to pursue a course in librarianship after studying a social Science subject, you could pursue a BLISc or MLISc. These courses are open to all graduates and one can get into either after completing their graduation from any stream, including the social sciences. The usual areas covered are library management, cataloging, information retrieval, digital libraries, and research methodologies. These are provided as regular and distance learning by various institutions. After completing such a course, you can join libraries, information centers, or research institutes in connected roles of information management and archival services.</p>
