To get higher marks one must clearly understand what is the demand of the question. I have found many of my students who may understand the concept but are not careful enough to read and comprehend what the question is all about. That is what makes the difference.

When there is a race (read - marks), someone will win on that day. When there is work, it ceases to be a race but more as an adventure.

"In today's world where there is too much competition among the students, everyone's focus is on highest marks. But you cannot judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree! Intelligence comes from High IQ,EQ and GK of a student and has nothing to do with being a topper in his class. However, it is often seen that an intelligent student receives average grades in school and college, but in due time, excels in the field he has chosen to specialize on. At the end of the day, that is exactly what matters."

Differs on the way a student writes in his/her exam.
Because marks in exam are not completely dependent on ones talent, they partially depend on ones writing skills.
So, try to be good in both of them, and surely one will get good marks in exam.
But in case of objective exams the marks are earned only by talent, nothing else.
That is why many times students with good score in subjective exams gain less marks in objective exams.

My friend one thing i honestly suggest you is Never under estimate any one. How can you say that you are more intelligent than the other person. The marks are awarded based on presentation, content related to question and hand writing some times.A student who is very inactive in the class can score good marks in the exam. It depends on the way he attempts the exam i mean the presence of mind and various aspects come into picture. so always keep your cool in the exam and do not panic.

Only difference is trained and untrained brain or you can say sharpened or blunt ace to cut tress. See example. In which year Hiroshima ( Japan) was bombed? You remember year and trained mind do not remember year as year has no image. Simply memorise : BOMB+ JAPAN and count letters in BOMB and JAPAN ie 4 and 5. The answer is In the year 1945 Hiroshima was bombed. Anothe example: How many oceans are there in the world? Normaly you say 7, 4 etccc . A trained brain memorise like this: Every one in the Ocean is PIASA ( thirsty) ie P= Pacific, I= Indian, A= Arctic, S= southern, A= Atlantic, that is all read more : http://books.google.co
