In 2024, the BArch cutoff at IIEST Shibpur witnessed a huge shift from previous years. The closing rank for the general category was 2166, whereas in 2023 it was 855 and in 2022 it was 1034. This upward trend in cutoff ranks shows that there is less competition for the programme this year. In addition, the cut-off ranks for the past three years have varied, indicating changing applicant performance and interest levels in the BArch programme, also indicating changes in demand as well as academic standards among potential applicants.
