How Diploma holders can not appear for UPSC exams.
Right Now I Am Paying My Complete Attention To UPSC Studies. But The Problem Is That I Do Not Know The Correct Procedure For It. And I Am Also Doing B.Com. As An External Student From GTU By This Year Only. By UPSC Examinations, I Want To Be An IPS OFFICER. Hope For A Helpfull Reply..

Hi Nitin, India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1)A candidate should have a degree of graduation in any field from any recognized university.
2)A candidate in his final year is also eligible for the civil services exam. (IPS, IFS, IAS)
3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
It has three-step process i.e.
Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
Main Exam (Mains), and
Interview.
The eligibility criteria to appear in this exam are:
A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Holds a graduate degree form recognized university.
Age between 21-30 years.

First you must do a degree. because UPSC examinations basic eligibility is an Degree in any specialization. After completing the degree only you are eligible. but from today itself you may start for your preparation for UPSC. also your degree may opt your UPSC main exam paper. it is also easier to prepare both UPSC and for your Degree
