in films like Robot or Avatar... VFX (visual effects) are used in combination with 3d programs like max or maya... The characters are filmed and then are composed in sftwares like Fusion,Nuke ,PF Track, Bojou, maya live etc... to knw more ... can u please specify wat type of tips u r lookin for...
