5-year Experience is required in some of the IIMs, as Although GMAT score is important but work experience plays the most important role for admission in executive MBA programs. In fact, many business schools offer MBA admission without GMAT score if candidates have a good number of years

MBA is best, if you do it from IIM India. That would be better for your career. Although, going abroad give you unmatchable experience, but you'll get the more benefit if you pursue your MBA from IIM, by clearing CAT.
