    Eligibility: Class 12 (any stream in many states), minimum forty to forty five percent, age 17+. Process: state nursing council / DME publishes notifications? online form? merit list / entrance test + medical fitness? counselling. ANM fees are modest—often under INR 50 thousand a year in government institutes; private ones can cross INR 1 lakh. ANM bridge to GNM B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) is a well trodden ladder.
