How do I apply for CMA-IMA?

    CMA/CWA is much more exclusive and knowledge based as per Indian Standards. CMA US is like a mini MBA - one year course and 2 exams.
    Whereas CMA India has its course equivalent to CA or CIMA UK. A much tougher course with pass percent around 1% , duration (excluding foundation) min - 2 years, No of papers 16.
    Moreover, Indian companies , mostly the PSUs doesnt value CMA US as such when compared to CWA/CMA. Also , the field of practice is not open to CMA US.
    Another point to be noted, one can never join any high rank civil service in India( ex- Indian cost accounting service) by CMA US degree.apply: Western India Regional Council,"Rohit Ch

    The candidates who intended to pursue CMA course should qualify in the three stages of the course.
    -First stage is called the Foundation Course. Those who have passed 10th standard or its equivalent can apply for this course but can appear for Foundation Course exam after passing 12th standard.After completing Foundation Course, one can apply for second stage of the course.
    -The second stage of the CMA course is called the Intermediate Course. Those who are applying for intermediate Course should have completed their graduation from any recognised university or Foundation Course of the Institute.
