How do I apply for UK universities after passing class 12 in 2019 from state board (West Bengal)?

I am currently studying in class 11 & am expected to pass class 12 in 2019 with humanities stream from WB board. I would like to know the procedure to apply for admission in UK universities for higher studies in English & also some reference books that might be helpful for the exams for admission.
