    To become a civil engineering faculty member, you'll typically need to meet the following qualifications:

    Doctoral degree

    A doctoral degree in civil engineering or a related field is the most common credential for a professorship. 

     

    Research and publications

    A record of research and publications is usually required. 

     

    Academic record

    A good academic record with at least 60% marks at the Master's Degree level is often required.
