    Polytechnic teachers are appointed through Public Civil Service Examination Test. There is no uniformity in qualifications. Some states the Technical Teachers Exam (TTE) to be passed, and some allow a Bachelor of Education some require a Bachelor of Technology only. Please refer to the respective DTE (Director of Technical Education) guidelines of your State or become a Government Polytechnic Lecturer, you have to appear for the state Public Civil Service examination. Some states the Technical Teachers Exam (TTE) to be passed, and some allow a Bachelor of Education some require a Bachelor of Technology only.
