    Hi,
First of all, congratulations for qualifying KSET.
KSET is Karnataka State Eligibility Test. By clearing KSET, you can apply for lectureship or Junior Research Fellowship in various universities across Karnataka.
Once you have Cleared KSET you will be called for to give Interviews in the universities and your selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
There are three stages to become a professor-
    Assistant Professor
    Associate Professor
    Professor
    All the best.

After passing the SET exam, you can undoubtedly seek for a position with the government. You can enrol in any university in Karnataka by taking the KSET but you must succeed in the interview to land a job. You must keep an eye out for the numerous notices that are printed in newspapers and other employment publications. Candidates may submit an application for the position that best suits them. For several government schools, applications will be requested for teaching positions.

The drawback of any lectureship exam is that you don't get a job based on your scores. You need to appear for interviews held at various universities to get the job.

Yes, you can apply in KSET. But the only thing is that you can apply in general not in any kind of catagory because the catagory of obc sc st is reserved for the students of Kerala. So chose accordingly and wisely.

There's a huge number of subjects and their cut off marks are also different so you need to be specific about the subject and then you can ask for a specific subject cut off.

In general, with a score of 140 in Category 1, it seems a bit difficult to get admission.

As according to the previous year cut off, very few subjects were the official which category 1 cut off was near by 140.
