    Hi,
    First of all, congratulations for qualifying KSET.
    KSET is Karnataka State Eligibility Test. By clearing KSET, you can apply for lectureship or Junior Research Fellowship in various universities across Karnataka.
    Once you have Cleared KSET you will be called for to give Interviews in the universities and your selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
    There are three stages to become a professor-
    Assistant Professor
    Associate Professor
    Professor

    After passing the SET exam, you can undoubtedly seek for a position with the government. You can enrol in any university in Karnataka by taking the KSET but you must succeed in the interview to land a job. You must keep an eye out for the numerous notices that are printed in newspapers and other employment publications. Candidates may submit an application for the position that best suits them. For several government schools, applications will be requested for teaching positions.

    You can certainly apply for a government job after clearing the SET exam. Appearing in KSET opens the doors of all the Karnataka based universities for you, but in order to get a job, you need to crack the interview.     The drawback of any lectureship exam is that you don't get a job based on your scores. You need to appear for interviews held at various universities to get the job.
    Appearing in KSET opens the doors of all the Karnataka based universities for you, but in order to get a job, you need to crack the interview.
    The interview is held at the university or its designated departments in the presence of a committee, including Dean of the department, lecturers, sometimes even the chancellor of the university is present when the interview is conducted.
    You need to be very presentable and accredited to make a positive impact on these high authorities
