    Hello CSIR NET Aspirants!
    Do not skip reference books.
You can also use highlighters, this also save times. Prepare short notes out of your own notes. Do not forget mock tests and CSIR NET previous year question paper. If you find a topic totally boring then skip the reference material and solve the objective questions just to get to know what type of questions are asked from a certain topic. Whatever you study just revise it, do not skip the revision at any cost and do not wait for the syllabus to complete first and then having a plan to start the revision. Revision has to be performed simultaneously.

    Hi
Follow the latest syllabus only and Mark the important topics covering a large section. Start making short notes if study from reference books. Keep on revising the topics. Plan strong approaches to strengthen topics you are weak at. Solve CSIR NET life sciences previous papers. Plan strategically and work smart. Keep calm and revise as much as you can to remember everything.

Candidates should follow a balanced approach. No doubt books help in conceptual clarity, and a candidate can study in detail. On the other hand, online platforms provide lectures through video, have updated notes, cover current affairs as well, etc. It also depends upon the candidate's feasibility and which method he or she is comfortable with for the preparation. Both books and online resources have their own importance. So, a balanced approach may benefit in the preparation.

No. The syllabus of CSIR NET is the same for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship (Assistant Professor). The difference that lies is only in the cut-off marks and not in the syllabus.
