Believe you can do it. One of the biggest difference between folks from different college tiers is self belief. Folks in Tier1 colleges just assume and know that jobs in Google/Microsoft/Amazon are for them. But I think these companies are just looking for talent. Just that there is more Probability of finding a good candidate in Tier1 college, it saves time for these giants to prefer resumes from Tier 1 colleges. I have seen a good many candidates from Tier2 or Tier3 colleges doing exceptionally well. So start believing that it is not college tier but your talent which is going to get you there. Deserve being there Prepare yourself in a way that you can belong there. Clearing interview is one part of it. Focus on core competencies and computer Science fundamentals. Don't hesitate to take your time. Rushing up can make things worse for you. Read books which are very core to computer Science. OS, Data structures, Architecture, Programming etc. Spend lot of time coding. Be curious and question things. Develop habit of asking questions in whatever you do. Don't accept thing as it is. Know things which you are doing. Dig deep. Internet is full of answers for almost everything you can think of. Just that you need to have that curiosity to generate right kind of questions. Hardwork has no color. Do your job well. Respect whatever job you are doing at this particular point of time. Give your best to it. It will help you in big manner. You will be spending most of your time in your current job. If you do not hone your skills there you will lag behind in your overall maturity in handling work. Remember hardwork has no color.

If you are still looking for B.Tech colleges and have the opportunity to apply to some other well-known universities in the south, you should do so, but in North India, Chandigarh University is said to be one of the fastest growing universities, obviously by their marketing agency, and yes, it is growing rapidly in terms of student numbers and infrastructure. Well, there are many factors that may influence your decision, but let me state my opinion: based on my experience, the syllabus pattern is not good; however, it may improve in the coming years. I am a six-semester engineering student, and I believe the college has wasted my first four semesters by teaching us subjects that will not benefit me as a member of any organisation. Although it is beneficial to acquire extra information, we should focus our efforts in college on improving our abilities in preparation for placements. Second, the syllabus consists primarily of theoretical courses, with programming languages being crammed in to meet the deadline. When it comes to campus placements, the university makes you happy when you hear that nearly 250 companies are visiting the campus, but you should know how many companies you can sit for in advance so you can clear this doubt with the admissions cell before getting admission and all the processes that come with it, such as TPP. Regarding other considerations like as the atmosphere, I would advise you to visit the campus at least once before applying for admission.
