To get a B.Ed seat in a private college in Telangana, you must appear for TS? Ed.CET, which will be held on June1 2025. You need at least 50% in graduation (45% for reserved). The application fee is rupees 750 for general/OBC and rupees 550 for SC/ST/PH. After the exam, counselling happens in July, and seat allotment is in August. About 85% seats are for local students and 15% are open, which also includes private colleges.

After qualifying, you have to register for online counselling, and attend for certificate verification, and go for the selection of preferred colleges through web options. After assigning a rank, these private institutes allot seats. The fees in private institutions ranges from ?16,000 to ?68,000 p.a.
