    You must be eligible to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET-UG, in order to be admitted to the Indian MBBS program. Passing Class 12 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and earning at least 50% of the possible points (40 percent for reserved categories) are prerequisites for eligibility. For government, private, and deemed universities, admission is determined by NEET results and counseling procedures. Private institutions can charge between INR 10 and INR 25 Lacs annually, whereas government colleges usually charge between INR 10,000 and INR 2,00,000 annually.
