Hi Ankita, you can get a direct admission in CSE only if you have cleared JEE with more than 90 percentile score. Then you don't need to take the LPU NEST exam otherwise you need to take the test. Hi, there as per my knowledge CSE is the branch that has wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies. And few opt for higher studies. LPU gives each and every student special input for placements they take whole Saturdays some times if needed Sundays too. That is the only reason their students get placed at a very high percentage. LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
