How do I get direct admission in LPU College for the CSE branch?

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam): Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Admission Criteria Merit in LPU NEST. Subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria. 95% students of LPU CSE got placed by the end of April 19, 2022 for the academic year 202122. The highest package was 62.72 LPA, given by EIGHTFOLD. The average Package was 6.2 LPA. Some of the companies of Placement are : Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Optmyzr, IBM, Infosys, Cloudera, the lowest India, CISCO, D. E Shaw India, Oracle, Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, Cmware, Virtusa, Accenture, SAP Labs, etc. 98% students of LPU CSE got placed for the previous academic year 202021. The highest package was 40.00 LPA, given by PRATILIPI. The average Package was 5.7 LPA.

Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST. So, qualifying the same, you can proceed for Admissions. Admissions in LPU have started for most of the programmes. LPU is currently inviting applications for B.Tech in various streams, so you can apply from their website. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps : 1 Register yourself on the portal 2. Fill the details 3. Choose the programme 4. Apply for LPUNEST 5. The study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements.

Hi Ankita, you can get a direct admission in CSE only if you have cleared JEE with more than 90 percentile score. Then you don't need to take the LPU NEST exam otherwise you need to take the test. Hi, there as per my knowledge CSE is the branch that has wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies. And few opt for higher studies. LPU gives each and every student special input for placements they take whole Saturdays some times if needed Sundays too. That is the only reason their students get placed at a very high percentage.
