One can get admission into the SSN College of Engineering BE/BTech programme on the basis of academic scores. One must have passed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate in PCM subjects. The entrance exam accepted for SSN BTech admissions includes TNEA. The duration of the course is four years. The B.E./B. Tech Programs are the flagship programs at SSN. Admission to these programs is strictly by merit. There are currently eight B.E./B. Tech programs are offered at SSN. No, SSN College of Engineering does not accept JEE.

Candidates seeking admission to an SSN BTech course must meet the required eligibility criteria. Eligible students can apply for the course through the college's official website (ssn.edu.in). Admission to 65% of the BTech seats is through a single counselling window as per the regulations of Anna University. The seats are allotted under management quota and on a merit basis. For the management seats, the selection is merit-based. SSN also admit students based on academic and sports excellence. Some seats are allotted to toppers of Government rural schools of Tamil Nadu. Seat allotment is also carried out through TNEA Counselling.
