How do I get more CGPA in lovely professional university?

I am a alumni of Lovely Professional University and I can tell you take it is actually a good place for ambitious and focused people to study in. If you want to explore, learn, grow and want to get placed in good companies then I must say please go ahead and take admission. In LPU, CGPA means Cumulative Grade Point Average. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is the average of Grade Points obtained for all semesters and courses completed up to a given academic term, whereas the Grade Point Average (GPA) may only refer to one term. If you want to score good CGPA, be regular in your class, don't miss the lectures because if you maintain more then 90% attendance, you will get marks. CA (Continuous Assessment)plays a vital role, you have to score good marks in each CA As you have to give 3,4 CA depends on subjects. You need to score good marks in Mid-Term as well as in End-Term Examination. To be honest, it is your sheer dedication that will fetch better marks for you in the examination and hence, focus on the basics and rest will follow. Now marks of all four section will be added and it will decide your final TGPA of semester. Your total marks will added and final grade is depends upon the performance of other students in that subject. If the highest score in that subject is low then your grade will be high even if your marks is less and vice-versa. You will score between 6.5 to 8 CGPA for sure to maintain a balance in these mentioned criteria.

The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is a prominent factor in any students life. Every semester results are announced as that terms GPA (TGPA), and the cumulative average of all semesters is calculated as CGPA. The best way of keeping your CGPA high is to do well in the initial attempt itself. TGPA for a subject is calculated using factors like Attendance, CAs, MTE (wherever applicable), and ETE. The importance of CA marks cant be stressed enough, they are the lifelines to your total score, and the best 2 of 3 are picked. It is advisable to never miss the 1st CA of a semester because it has the least syllabus and will be the easiest compared to the next. With good attendance and CA score, doing well in the mid-term exams can give a huge boost to your confidence that will help you in tackling your End term. But there will be instances where you could not perform well enough in certain subjects, or you might want a second chance to take your score even higher in your favorite subjects, in that case How to increase your CGPA? Improvements: Lovely Professional University has an extremely student-friendly concept of attempting a passed subject up to 5 times to improve its grade. Reappears: If you have attained a fail grade in a subject, it will severely affect the TGPA and by extension CGPA. The only way to improve your grade, in this case, is to take the reappear exam for that subject. Backlog classes: If a student could not clear a subject in 5 reappear attempts or fails to maintain 75% attendance in a subject, they are obliged to signup for Backlog classes to learn the subject once again. Whatever the method applies to you, do your best and prepare well but never resort to malpractices and cheating because once you are caught, you will be failed in that subject by default and will face an Unfair Means Case.

There are some ways to get more CGPA at LPU: 1) Attend classes regularly because if your subject attendance is above 90% then you will get 5 Marks without any risk. These 5 marks will be directly added to your final result. Most of LPU subjects semester final marks weightage calculation looks like this: Attendance-5marks + CA marks (best 2 CA out of 3)-20marks + MTE-25Marks + ETE-50Marks. Total of 100 marks. 2) At the beginning of the semester, Always try to give 1st CA of the subject. Because 1st CA out of 3 CA's is always easy. 3)Only preparing for Tests from ppts that were uploaded by faculty is not enough, you should have to study from textbooks of that respective subject. Because the ppts which were uploaded by faculty only covers a few topics of the subject, if you wanna get full marks than you have to study from textbooks. You don't have to buy textbooks from a book store because you can download most of them from the internet in the form of E-books and 98 percent of Lpu students have laptops 4)Most LPU faculty don't ask viva during the regular practical sessions but there will be viva in the final exams which play important role in the marks so be prepared for viva of that respective practical. If you don't have any viva questions than try to make some viva questions yourself. Always try to give 100 percent of yourself during the tests and do not compare yourself with the other students around you and do not blindly follow faculty because they teach you only a few about the subject you have to study from textbooks to fully understand the subject. Use the sources around you, Lpu providing free wi-fi to access the internet and LPU has two libraries So properly use the sources. Best of Luck.

Hi Sameeksha kapoor Being consistent in class and attending lectures will help you get a high grade point average (CGPA). If your attendance is at least 90%, you will receive credit. CA (Continuous Assessment) is important, and you must perform well on each CA. Depending on the subject, you must provide 3, 4, or CA. I hope it helps!
