    CAT is an exam of precision. it has 3 major sections- Quantitative aptitude, qualitative and English section. So start practicing as much as you can. Once you are acquaint with the basic knowledge, build up your stronger areas to score.
    Read newspaper and magazines on regular basis for improving your reading ability. more that speed you should focus on your accuracy. Even if you are able to solve only 10- 20% you can get a high percentile given the responses are right.
