The admission of students to the JLU Bhopal MCA programme is conducted on two basis, merit obtained in the qualifying examination and students performance in the personal interview round. In order to prepare for the PI round, students must revise the fundamentals of Computer Applications. Other than academics, students are also evaluated based on their interpersonal skills. Listed below are some of the common questions asked during PIs:

    • Tell me about yourself
    • Describe a time when you demonstrated leadership
    • Describe a time when you had to overcome hardship
    • What have you done to improve your skills and knowledge in the last year?

Even if the candidate clears the sectional and overall cutoff in IPMAT exam but does not get shortlisted for the PI round, it means that the candidate is eligible but not among the top-ranked candidates based on the composite score. Such a candidate will not be considered for admission to the IPM programme.

Such candidates can opt for reappearing for the exam next year, as there is no provision of re-evaluation. Candidates can also consider applying to other institutes which accept IPMAT Indore scores, such as NIRMA University, TAPMI, etc.
