How do I proceed after the HPBOSE Class 12 result?

If you do not qualify in HPBOSE Class12th 2026 exam, apply for the compartment/supplementary exams. You are eligible for this if you fail in one or two subjects. If you fail in more than two subjects then need to reappear next year. 

HPBOSE Class 12 ranking methodology determines toppers based on the highest total marks secured in the final examinations. It considers the aggregate in five subjects. A 9-point grading system is used for subject-wise performance.

If students are not satified with HPBOSE 12th result, students can apply for re-evaluation or re-checking. This is done within 15 to 30 days. For re-evaluation of result, students need to pay INR 400 to 500. Alternatively, you can appear for supplementary exams to improve your scores.

HPBOSE Class 12 result marking scheme requires students to achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. In aggregate, 33% are required to be secured.

HP Board result carries the student's name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, aggregate percentage, qualification status. Candidates are required to secure 33 per cent in each subject and in total.
