How do I shortlist universities in USA to do my Masters program?

There are numerous strategies to do so, but before going to that, I'll assume that you are sure on what you are planning to study at college. I believe you have decided that you are planning to study say engineering (MS) or data analytics or MBA etc. Once that is sorted, then you can either directly search on the internet on which are the most popular choices for international students who wish to study the courses similar to you. That will help you build a long and comprehensive list of universities. But one size does not fit all in the world of admissions and all students have their preferences and requirements. That is why I prefer the second method of shortlisting the universities which is: go to a website like US News, College Niche, etc. and look out for Universities with different popularity and rankings. Learn about the different Universities and shortlist 8-10 of them which offer a course of choice. Always remember to select a broad range of universities: dream, reach and backup.

First, make sure you are interested in studying, then choose the appropriate specialization. Next, check all the entry requirements like IELTS, work experience, check the location of the university to find a part-time job nearby, and also check the fees and ranking for the college.
