Keep in mind that the question has been answered assuming that the user is to score full in the 12th CBSE board Physics paper. Physics is an application, numerical as well as theoretical based subject. Apart from solving numerical problems, the student is expected to have a deep understanding of the concepts behind it as theories of those concepts can also come up. A full understanding of provings and their application becomes a must. Just like mathematics, Physics requires concept clarity and practice. Rote learning will not help you in scoring full. Practicing book questions, SL Arora, and past year papers will help get confidence in your own paper. The same statement applies to college-level Physics.
