How do I take lateral entry in BTech?

One can take a B.Tech course laterally, whereby a Diploma or a B.Sc. with Math can directly enter into the 2 and or even 3 rd year of the engineering degree. The criteria are normally 3 years Diploma in a discipline of engineering or B.Sc. (Mathematics), minimum aggregate percentage (45-60% majorly)
