    To get into a B.Tech programme of your choice, you have to appear in an entrance exam and score the minimum marks required.

    For different universities entrance exams vary. The most common one is JEE Main and most of the top engineering colleges with good B.Tech programs accept it. 

    The percentile required for admission is also different for every college and institution. But if you want to secure a seat at a high-ranking engineering college, then a score of at least 90 percentile is needed.
