How do students get selected for LLB and what is the minimum score required?

<p>The selection process and minimum score required for admission to the 3-year LLB programme across law colleges is as follows :-</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>1. Qualifying Exam: </em></span>- Students first need to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which is the national level entrance exam for law programme admissions.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>2. Cutoff Marks:-&nbsp; </em></span>There is no defined minimum score for CLAT. However, students need to obtain the cutoff percentile and ranks to qualify for counseling. The minimum required CLAT percentile is often 95+ for top colleges.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>3. Counselling Process:-&nbsp;</em></span> Based on the CLAT score and merit rank, students have to apply to various National Law Universities and colleges as per preference during counselling rounds conducted after CLAT results.&nbsp;</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>4. Seat Allotment: </em></span>- Finally seats are allotted based on candidate's CLAT rank, college preferences, reservation policies, number of seats available and performance in admission interviews if conducted.</p><p>In conclusion, selection is determined by both CLAT results and subsequent college counseling.
