To calculate the SSC CGL salary, you can use the following formula:
Total salary = Basic salary + Grade pay + HRA + TA + DA + Other allowances
The basic salary for different levels in SSC CGL is as follows:

    • Level 8: INR 47,600 to INR 1,51,100
    • Level 7: INR 44,900 to INR 1,42,400
    • Level 6: INR 35,400 to INR 1,12,400
    • Level 5: INR 29,200 to INR 92,300
    • Level 4: INR 25,500 to INR 81,100

The grade pay is also determined by the Commission based on the SSC CGL post level. For example, for Level 8, the grade pay is INR 4,800, and for Level 7, it is INR 4,600.
